Annie has painted inside this desk with overlapping stencils of her roses and oak leaf stencil. She has used Duck Egg Blue, Louis Blue, Old White and Chateau Grey predominately. The outside is a simple wash in Louis Blue with Old White around the edges.

An interior designer brought this chest of drawers into us to complete a room she was putting together. By painting the chest of drawers and bedside cabinet otherwise disparate pieces were brought together

This was brought in to us for the client's house in France and had been found in their house. The piece seem to have been made from different pieces of woods and had possiblt been painted before but had been stripped although it did show a few very small traces of old paint. Annie Sloan painted it in Chateau Grey with Old White over it. Inside the cupboards and drawers is the stunning Emperor's SIlk - ( we are renaming it Red Beret to salute the French style).
The whole piece was waxed in clear and dark wax as well as a little red and blue pigment to bring out the texture.
The red down the tongue and groove panelling is a tribute the famous French red striped tea towels.
