After a long time searching we have eventually found our North American Distributor. It is the wonderful Lisa Rickert who is spearheading the whole operation! Lisa bought my book, Creating the French Look and decided to order my paint on line even though coming from England it is fiendishly expensive. She LOVED the paint - as people usually do once they have used it, and decided to see if she could be the distributor having seen that we were looking for someone.

Come and visit 'Annie Sloan Paint' on Facebook and become a FAN
I regularly post photos and information about paints, courses, my book's progress, houses and colours
( Not 'Annie Sloan' as this is my personal facebook site - you're welcome to that too but its not so paint orientated of course)
| A potentially nice piece but the journalist got it wrong about our paint! She's gone and rubbed down and applied ESP to the piece when she didn't need to at all. She's made loads of work for herself. Anyway, they say that no publicity is worse then bad/wrong publicity so I should smile really! | ![]() |
| Annie Sloan Paint with Anna-Marie in Germany Go visit this site ----------- http://www.avm-design.com This is Anna-Marie von Mangoldt's wonderful web site for Annie Sloan Paint in German. Anna-Marie has lots of plans and exiting developments for the next year working with the paint on furniture and interior design projects, finding stores to sell the paint, running workshops on how to use the paint and getting everyone to know about it. If you are interested in being a stockist in Germany, get in touch with through the German web site | ![]() |

We've had a lot of interest from people wanting to be stockists recently.
The two latest are Sally Bourne Interiors in Muswell Hill in London, and Nellie in the Shed in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The latter have a great little video you can see on Youtube. Brilliant - here's the web site below;

Well I like being called a Paint Legend!
We've added some more dates to this because there has been so much interest!
| 'Creating the French Look' has been published and is selling really well as it seems to be just what lots of people have been waiting for. We have some great publicity in the interior design magazines such as a double page spread in 'Country Homes and Interiors' as well as Homes and Gardens and BBC Homes and Antiques It's a practical book with step by step instructions on painting old furniture and making curtains and cushions Order a copy now and get it signed by Annie . | ![]() |
| Is there an interior design gene we wonder? We have just found out that Annie Sloan is related to an old and very influential interior design company in New York. Nick Sloan, Annie's brother, submitted a cheek swab for analysis, and it seems that the connection goes back probably 5 generations to either Ireland and Scotland so it is rather distant but we are like the idea of an interior design gene! Here is a piece from the Wikipedia article on the company. The advertisement is from a 1902 magazine called the Scribners Magazine. 'W. & J. Sloane set the national decorating taste of the United States, and decorated the homes of the most prominent people in the country, including the White House, created Hollywood movie sets, and even designed and decorated interiors of automobiles. It was the choice of the elite in New York. ' | ![]() |
| *The Dutch edition of Creating the French Look' was published at the end of October 2008. It is called 'Verftechnieken en homedecoraties uit Frankrijk' and you will notice it has a different cover to the English edition. price 22,50 and the ISBN is 978 90 213 3817 0 | ![]() |
